CRAFT DIY: How to make TWISTER LOOPS hair bows

Let's make some hair bows today! I love the look of these in Kennedy's hair :)

Let's make some t-shirts :)

Last year I purchased a heat press. (Y'all know I'm a girl with BIG BIG PLANS!)
This is the one I purchased:

(Click the photo for more information)

I love it. It's VERY easy to use. *I'm not even kidding! Basically the instructions said "Turn it on, adjust your temps and GO!" I like instructions like that :)

Of course, you will need your computer and access to a printer if you plan to print your own transfers. Finding the right transfer paper was probably the trickiest part of the whole process. TIP: If you are working with DARK colors purchase the transfer paper for DARK CLOTHING! Yeah, I made that little mistake the first time ;)

I've used this brand:

You can also use vinyl (Which I love so much more than ink transfers) but my kids are rather impatient so we usually go for the cartoon characters printed on our own transfer paper.

You can use the Cricut or Silhouette to cut your vinyl out (So many possibilities!) I currently own the Cricut Expression but would LOVE to buy a Silhouette next.

Do you own a heat press? What have you been making with it? Also, which do you prefer? The cricut or the Silhouette?

Here's some of the recent tshirts that we have made :
